Aftermath of the Battle of the Five Armies
In the shadow of Erebor, where Durinfolk have just reclaimed control of the Lonely Mountain, questions about the future of Middle-Earth swirl. Will the new kingdom re-integrate with the seven dwarf-lords, the necromancer in Dol Guldur rise, and will middle-earth return to an aero of peace or war?
Language in committee should remain respectful and courteous to your fellow delegates, regardless of its appropriateness for the time period. Crisis delegates should not upload position papers.
New Positions!
Two new positions have been added to the committee. The remainder of the positions can be found in the background guide attached below.
Gloin of Thorin’s Company: Cousin of Dwalin and Balin, and father of Gimli, Gloin is a dwarf with deep connections to Erebor and to his kin. He was with Thorin when Gandalf first me him at Bree and is not fond of the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins. Gloin’s major motivation is to secure a home of the Dwarves, and he harbors dreams of retaking Moria following the War of the Dwarves and Orcs.
Beorn: Living in the upper strech of the Anduin, Beorn is a skin-changer who helped the company along their way to Erebor and in the battle of the Five Armies. He is not overfond of dwarves but hates Orcs with a passion after they tortued his family. He is a great friend of nature and protects it above all else.
