TechMUN Collegiate Conference
March 9, 2018, 8:00pm - March 11, 2018, 10:00pm
Dear Delegates, Faculty Advisors and MUN enthusiasts,
On behalf of the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs and the Georgia Tech Model UN Team, it is my pleasure to invite you to TechMUN, Georgia Tech’s first official collegiate conference scheduled to be held on March 9th- 11th, 2018.
As a new conference, our goal is to establish ourselves as the first ever technology based conference with debates in both General Assemblies and Crisis. Our aim is to be a paperless conference, so all resolutions, directives, and notes will be handled digitally. Our hope is that with the use of technology, TechMUN will be established as one of the least logistically challenged and most environmentally friendly conferences. In addition, our combination of both General Assemblies and Crisis will make this a conference for all schools to participate in. Each delegate will have to opportunity to choose their TechMUN experience, be it GAs or Crisis. General Assembly topics will range from common issues such as combating terrorism to newer issues such as the effects of technology on our World. Our Crisis topics range from a JCC based on Cold War to the 2001 Anthrax Attacks. In both cases, delegates will have to diplomatically create unique solutions to all problems posed.
We encourage all teams to add TechMUN to their list of conferences for the Spring and we hope to see your delegates in March! Detailed information about committee topics, use of technology and more will soon be available on this website. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
